This year, on February 25-26, we will be participating in an event called the 30 Hour Famine. World Vision promotes this event and the purpose is for the kids to realize the reality of world hunger. On December 28th, we will have a kick-off event where this program will be explained and they will understand how they will raise money to help the people in need. The kids will be accepting donations until the event on February 24th. That night there will be an all-nighter at the church and the kids will go 30 hours without eating. The purpose of this is to help them feel and understand what the people who struggle with hunger go through on a daily basis. This will be a difficult thing to do but I promise it will be life changing. I will need adults to help with the 30 Hour Famine. If anyone is interested, please contact me. God bless you.
