Pre-Teen Girls Ministry will begin on Wednesday, September 7. The Leaders will be Karen Srmek and Ashley Olson. We will meet every Wednesday at 7 p.m. and have a special activity and study once a month on Sunday afternoon. The name for this ministry will be G.L.P. - God's Little Princesses.
The Pre-Teen Girls Ministry will focus on planting seeds of purity in young hearts. They will learn that God loves them and they are a unique and special treasure. Obedience to God makes you free and inner beauty is more important than outer beauty. This will be an awesome learning and growing experience for our 5th and 6th grade girls. We encourage all girls in the Pre-Teen age group to attend. Please invite friends, neighbors, daughters and grand daughters. Do you know a girl who would benefit from knowing how special she is to God? Bring her to church.
Teachers Kick-off Celebration is scheduled for Sunday, September 11 at 5:00 p.m. All teachers are invited to attend so we can express our appreciation for them and to communicate our vision for the Christian Education Ministry. We will also have a very yummy surprise snack AND be all finished before the Annual Business meeting at 6:00.
Youth Group/Pre-Teens and their families are invited to a Wiener Roast and Campfire on Saturday, September 17 at 6:00 PM at the Srmek's house. This will be a great opportunity for the parents of the youth group kids to connect with the leaders and discuss ideas, goals, and other ways we can support this very important ministry. Please bring lawn chairs and a dish to pass.
DMZ—Disciple Making Zone will begin Sept. 11th.
